Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients

3 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 pint sour cream
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
6 eggs
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon lemon flavoring


Directions

Cream butter and sugar well.

Add baking soda, sour cream, and flavorings.

Add eggs two at a time with one cup flour until all eggs and flour have been added, beating well after each addition.

Grease tube pan with either shortening or butter. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.

When cool, wrap and store in plastic bag. Freezes well.
