Sorbet

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups lemon flavoring (lemon juice)
1 Tablespoon lemon zest


Directions

Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium high heat.

Reduce heat to low and simmer until sugar dissolves, about 3-4 minutes. Cool completely.

When cool, add flavoring, and stir to combine. Pour into freezer bowl, and mix until mixture thickens, about 30 minutes.

If using raspberry use a 12 oz bag of frozen raspberries, pureed and strained (about 1 cup) with 4 tsp. lemon juice.
