Scalloped Corn

Ingredients

1/2 green pepper
1/2 onion chopped fine
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 cup milk
1/2 cup bread cubes
1 Tablespoon butter
2 cups whole kernal corn
1 beaten egg


Directions

Cook pepper and 2 Tbsp. butter 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add flour, mixed seasonings, and stir until blended.

Add milk and cook until thick. Brown bread cubes in 1 Tbsp. butter and add with corn and eggs.

Turn into a greased baking dish, cover with 1/2 cup of buttered bread crumbs. Bake in a 400° oven for 20 minutes.
