Pork Chop Rice Bake

Ingredients

4 Pork chops
3/4 cup raw rice not minute rice
1 medium onion chopped
2 cups chicken broth
1 small green pepper chopped
1 can sliced mushrooms drained


Directions

Sprinkle pork chops with salt, pepper and flour. Brown in skillet with 1 1/4 tablespoons shortening. Add 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce while browning. When brown, remove from pan and place in covered casserole. Add: rice, onion, chicken broth, green pepper and mushrooms. Cover and bake in 350 oven for 1 hour. Cover may be removed for last 10 minutes.
