Luscious Strawberry Salad

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups boiling water
2 packages strawberry gelatin powder
2 10 oz packag frozen strawberries
1 cup crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped pecans optional
1 cup sour cream

Directions

Add boiling water to gelatin and stir until gelatin is dissolved. Add frozen strawberries immediately and mix gently. Chill until slightly congealed. Add pineapple and nuts and mix. Put 1/2 of gelatin mixture into a lightly oiled 9 inch square pan or fancy mold (big one) chill slightly. Fold sour cream into remaining gelatin mixture and pour carefully into mold and chill until set.
