Green Beans and Potatoes

Ingredients
fresh green beans
new potatoes
salt
onions
cooking oil
bacon
Directions
Green beans fresh, need to be broken, or you can use canned or frozen. Place in a 3 to 4 quart pan, layered with onions. Place a layer of whole potatoes. On each layer place salt and pepper and a sprinkle of sugar. Pour over all ingredients 1/4 cup of cooking oil. Can be layered with uncooked diced bacon cutting down on cooking oil.
